BECOME A PADRINO
In a quinceañera celebration, padrinos (godparents) hold a place of honor. Traditionally, they are family members, friends, or community members who contribute financially or offer support for the event. They sponsor significant aspects of the celebration, such as the court, dress, cake, and music. Padrinos are more than just sponsors; they are figures of guidance and care who help mark this milestone. Their involvement reflects a communal spirit, where friends and family come together to celebrate and uplift one another.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a padrino and sponsoring “EL QUINCE,” please contact Christopher Mangum-James, LAND’s deputy director, at christopher@nomadicdivision.org.
