On May 11, 2013, LAND and Paddle8 hosted an intimate dinner and live auction in culmination of the closing of Vanguard — an online auction of contemporary art presented by BVLGARI. Curated by Shamim M. Momin, LAND’s Curator and Director, Vanguard featured a selection of approximately 35 works by notable artists including Tracey Emin, Parker Ito, Wade Guyton, Nate Lowman, Matias Faldbakken, Aaron Young, Rita Ackermann, Tauba Auerbach, Lucien Smith, Ryan McGinley, Dash Snow, and Raymond Pettibon among many others. Simon de Pury was the auctioneer for the evening, and over $300,000 was raised for LAND.

Hosted by Maria Bell, Bob Colacello, Alberto Festa, Jeanne Greenberg-Rohatyn, Matthew Mellon, Stavros Niarchos, Glenn O’Brien, Amy Phelan, Vladimir Restoin Roitfeld, Jamie Tisch, Ethan Wagner and Thea Westreich.
